Huawei announced the launch of the industry’s highest performance ARM-based processor, Huawei Kunpeng 920 (Huawei Kunpeng 920), as well as TaiShan server based on Huawei Kunpeng 920 and Huawei cloud service.

Huawei Kunpeng 920 is the highest performance ARM-based processor in the industry. The processor is manufactured by 7Nm technology and authorized by the ARM architecture. It is designed by Huawei Company independently. By optimizing the branch prediction algorithm, increasing the number of computing units, improving the memory subsystem architecture and a series of micro-architecture design, the processor performance is greatly improved. Under typical dominant frequency, SPECint Benchmark score exceeded 930, exceeding 25% of the industry benchmark. At the same time, the energy efficiency ratio is 30% better than the industry benchmark. Huawei Kunpeng 920 provides better performance for data center with lower power consumption.
